CELEBRATING the Silver jubilee, the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) Annual Convention 2010, will embark on an exploration of the next phase of Indian auto industry on August 26. A grand convention will be held to celebrate the glorious fifty years of SIAM at Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi on this day.
In the convention, the confluence of global automotive industry leaders, speakers and policy makers will address the dynamics of managing growth in all spheres. The inaugural sessions will be attended by Vilasrao Deshmukh, Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises and Jairam Ramesh, Minister of State of the Ministry of Environment and Forests. The special plenary present will be addressed by Kamal Nath, Minister of Road Transport and Highways.
The presidents, vice-presidents, directors, chief executive officers (CEOs) and other officials of companies like Tata Motors, Toyota Motors, Ford Motor Co, Hyundai Motor Co, ICICI Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hero Honda Motors, TVS Motors Co, among others will be present on the occasion. Also the policy makers from Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Department of Science and Technology and Railway Board will be present on the event.
