Cribs are used for various purposes for babies. Crib mattresses, crib drop side, convertible  drop side crib, baby crib drop side are some products that are being used for babies.

The drop side crib recall 2010 is one of the most talked out things today. More than two million drop side cribs manufactured by Evenflo and six other companies have been recalled.  The recalls were prompted by some 250 reports of crib malfunctions that resulted in more than a dozen entrapments of infants. No deaths have been reported.

The side rail cribs which are in question have been banned by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. An infant's head can become lodged between the rail and mattress. While such cribs have been used for decades, apparently they are less sturdy now than before. Some fixed-side cribs are included in the recall, too.
