Sixth Convocation of Jaipur's Jagan Nath University held
"Keeping in view the radical shift in the career industry with high skills of Artificial Intelligence as 4th Industrial revolution, the educated youth need to be motivated to believe in 'work works' as the two word success story relevant in all times to come," said Dr (Mrs) Pankaj Mittal, Additional Secretary UGC, New Delhi while delivering the Convocation Address at the 6th Convocation Ceremony of Jagan Nath University here today, stated an official release.

Universities and colleges are not mere places of learning but homes of culture and are the temples of learning who make better human beings, said Dr Mittal. She appreciated the educational endeavours of the university as wonderful institution with excellent facilities. 

Professor MM Goel, Vice-Chancellor of the university while welcoming the guests said that the university is committed towards achieving efficiency, sufficiency and equity by adopting SMART model (Simple, Moral, Action-oriented, Responsive and Transparent) .Honest efforts have been made for becoming unique by imparting quality education and transforming the students into human capital needed in the economy today,' said  the VC.  

Prof VK Agarwal, Pro Chancellor presided over the sacred function and blessed the gathering with his words of wisdom. 

Earlier Dr Mittal planted a sapling under green and clean campus endeavours of the university. 

It is to be noted that 376 students were given degrees in various courses including  PhD in the discipline of Engineering & Technology, Management and Law. Other degrees conferred were of  M.Tech., LLM, MBA, B.Tech., B.Arch., BA LLB, BBA LLB, BBA, etc. Meritorious students were awarded with Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Tanmay Pattanayak, Registrar, Jagannath University, Jaipur.
