Sixth ODI: A must win game for India against Australia
Australia leads the ongoing ODI series against India 2-1 after the last two matches failed to yield any results due to rain. Hence the sixth ODI today at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground in Nagpur is a must win for India, if they are to have any chances of winning the series. A loss here will end India's chances of winning the seven match ODI series.

On the contrary, if Australia wins today, they are going to win the series with one match still left to play. The Aussies have been going good guns with both bat and the ball. The series could have easily been in favour of India had the Indian bowlers primarily Ishant Sharma not bowled so poorly in the third ODI at Mohali. But one also needs to give credit to the Australian bowler, James Faulkner who single handedly won the game for India striking 64 runs of 29 balls.

One look at India's performance in the series reflects that they have been consistent after their first ODI loss. MS Dhoni, Kohli, Dhawan, Rohit Sharma have been in good knick with the bat. But it is their bowlers, which have looked below par.

As for the Australians, they have also been equally consistent with the bat. Their skipper, George Bailey along with other players such as Adam Voges, Glenn Maxwell, Watson, Finch have looked good. In fact, Maxwell has been very impressive with his aggressive hitting.

Both sides seem to have a stronger batting line up, on which they depend a lot as well. But, in the Indian sub continent, one also needs to understand that the pitch is more suited to shot making, which makes it difficult for the bowlers to contain the run flow as well as take wickets at regular intervals.

The competition between the two sides has been intense till date, as they have been giving it their all to turn victorious. Hence, the sixth ODI is also expected to be played with the same vigour and intensity. From time to time, few words have also been exchanged on the field between the sides, adding to the intensity.
