Snowicane warning: NSA warns snowfall at Staten Island
The National Weather Service winter storm on Snowicane warning lasts till 6:00 PM tomorrow. It could also snow on Saturday and Sunday, as per the service.

 A SNOWFALL warning, one that being popularly refered to as snowicane, has been issued by the National Weather Service for Staten Island. The Snowicane warning has predicted that there would be about 6-14 inches of snowfall here, lasting all day.

The snowfall, that has come in earlier than expected, will intensify during the afternoon and continue throughout tomorrow. There also a possibility of the snowfall combined with sleet or rain as the winter storm lasts.

The National Weather Service winter storm on Snowicane warning lasts till 6:00 PM tomorrow. It could also snow on Saturday and Sunday, as per the service.

Further, winds are also expected to pick up by afternoon and evening, with predicted winds blowing through Staten Island at 30 MPH. Some of these gusts can even reach hurricane force strenght, at 78 MPH.
