FIFA WORLD Cup is knocking our doors and so are the terror threats. World’s most watched sport is under the threat of Al-Qaeda and US has decided to help host South Africa in the security arrangements.

The game of June 12, which is to be played between US and England, is on the priority list of Al Qaeda and now the security officials as well. In the recent article posted on the online Jihadist magazine reads that the stadium is full of a Crusader audience while the sound of a blast shocks the stands and turns on its head. God willing, there will be dozens and hundreds of causalities. Fifty grams are sufficient for such an operation.

South African Police has taken the threats seriously and US is also helping the country to make proper security arrangements. South African police is undergoing rigorous training in the view of the World Cup ahead.

South African Minister Nathi Mthethwa has stated that such events attract criminals to commit crime and send negative and disturbing messages. Police is steadfast in the security plans and any criminal activity or terrorism will be dealt swiftly and with no mercy. The force has been proactively and reactively preparing for any threat since 2004.
