Some healthy summer foods
With the onset of summer people are looking for ways to say cool. Here we will look for some of the foods that we can have to beat the summer heat.
Corn is a delicious summer vegetable that contains two antioxidants, lutein and zeaxanthin These help to filter out the sun's damaging rays and also promotes healthy vision. It is also a good source of fiber.

Watermelons are 92 per cent water, naturally low fat and are a great way to stay hydrated during summers. The vitamin C content in the fruit helps in improving the bodies immune and kidney system.

Iced coffee and iced tea are also great ways to cool and hydrate the body. Caffeine in the iced coffee helps reduce the risk of skin cancer and tea helps reduce the risk of Alzheimer and diabetes, plus improves the strength of teeth, gums and bones.

Tomatoes are good addition for your food during the summer. The lycopene in the tomatoes protect your skin from sunburn and are powerful blood purifiers and help prevent diseases like osteoporosis and Alzheimer.

Mint is a herb which has amazing cooling and relaxing properties and can be consumed in any form. Regular consumption of mint helps in treating digestive problems. The aroma of mint is a quick and effective remedy for nausea and headache.
