Some senior IAS officers misguiding Haryana CM?
Haryana government has dispensed with the services of Jai Bhagwan Mittal alias Rocky Mittal as Publicity Advisor (Audio/Visual) and to assist the Government with Swaran Jayanti celebrations.

A day before his unceremonious removal, Mittal had alleged widespread corruption in preparations of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of creation of Haryana as a separate state.

Mittal had also alleged that some senior IAS officers were misguiding the Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar and not allowing him to take right decisions.

A million dollar question being asked in political, media and administrative circles of the state is, whether the Haryana CM really a prisoner in the hands of a coterie of IAS officers. The way Mittal was given marching orders indicates that Khattar is deeply influenced by the officers.

Mittal is a staunch supporter of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and he came into the limelight by singing praiseworthy songs for PM Modi. He was rewarded with the post of publicity advisor. But, perhaps he had forgotten his role and had exceeded his brief.

Role of any publicity advisor is to popularise his boss and not to find any fault in his working.

Harinder Dhingra, a Gurugram-based crusader against corruption is shocked over the developments. Dhingra told that instead of removing Mittal, the government should had probed his allegations.

A day before his removal, Mittal, while addressing a press conference at Gurugram, had alleged that a large scale corruption took place during the Golden Jubilee celebrations, which was also attended by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.

Mittal invited wrath of powerful officers' lobby by stating that Public Relations Department was compiling list of corrupt officers, which will be soon made public.

Interestingly on one hand, state BJP chief, Subhash Barala was telling media that allegations of Mittal will be probed by the state government and on the other hand Mittal was given marching orders on the same day. It is widely believed that Haryana government is being run by coterie of few IAS officers.

Former Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda while questioning the appointment of Mittal had described it as wastage of public money while forgetting that during his tenure he had appointed half a dozen media advisers.
