Sony signs Taiwan internet sensation Lin Yu-Chin, 'Little Fatty'
Sony Music has signed up a Taiwanese singer, Lin Yu-Chin, who became a Susan Boyle- like internet sensation after singing like Whitney Houston on a TV talent show in April.
SONY MUSIC has signed up a Taiwanese singer, Lin Yu-Chin, who became a Susan Boyle- like internet sensation after singing like Whitney Houston on a TV talent show in April.

Lin Yu-Chin, dubbed as ‘Little Fatty’ by media in Taiwan expressed shock at this news, “I still cannot believe it is true.”

Sony signed, 24 year-old at press conference in Shanghai all set to release his first album featuring Mandarin and English songs in July. Lin followed the footsteps of the real Susan Boyle from Britain and other TV show stars like Paul Potts and Kelly Clarkson to join Sony Music.

Lin won the Million Star Show with accurate rendition of Whitney Houston’s song “I will always love you.” This led to almost million visits to his video on You Tube.

The part time worker at music instrument shop, expressed shocked earlier after response to his video on You Tube, “I am shocked I can draw so much attention. I am really moved and happy that people liked my performance of Houston’s song.”

“I have loved singing since I was little boy and feel like I am living my dream now. I hope I can pursue a career in singing, “Lin said in an interview earlier. Sony Music contract will definitely give his an opportunity to move ahead and win millions of hearts.

The media name of Lin “Little Fatty” is very popular amongst his fan club. Plain looking and short became overnight sensation after the almost perfect rendition of Houston’s song.

Lin wants to follow the footstep of Susan Boyle, whose first album “I dream a dream” was best-selling debut in British chart history and topped the US charts.
