The Indian railways has decided to run around 18 trains from different locations across the country as devotees will come from across the nation to take part in this eve.
The special train for Ajmer Khwaja started from Monday (June 14) and will continue till June 25, 2010. The special trains will run from Mumbai, Barauni, Ernakulam, Hyderabad, Ongole, Asansol, Sealddah, Jamshedpur, New Jalpaiguri, Jaipur, Chennai, Sultanpur, Saharanpur, Haridwar and Patna. The reservation facility will be available across the country from June 14, for the annual Urs of Ajmer Sharif.
There are also special arrangements from Delhi
to Ajmer. The security has been tighten and beefed up and for strict observation the CCTV and numbers of ambulance have been deployed. There is also the facility of X-ray security screening machine for the security measures, and around more than three thousand policemen are deployed in and around the holy shrine.
Ajmer Khawaja came from Persia in 1190 AD at the age of 53 and started Chishtiya (silsila) and it lays stress on interpreting the religion in terms of humanitarian services and self – discipline with generosity work and for this spiritual eve every devotee will take part in this function.
The Urs (death anniversary) celebration will be for six days, the annual Urs of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinudidin Chishti eve will be held at the dargah of saint in Ajmer. Ajmer Khwaja city will be packed with thousands of devotees for this spiritual occasion.
