Spiritual message of Navratri: Feminine divine is the real principle of energy through which divinity functions
Navratri festival has begun which has a lot of spiritual significance behind its celebration which we often tend to forget. The reason being, humans have a tendency to ritualise the festivals, instead of heading to their real messages.

Worst of all, the market forces have turned the festivals into meaningless fun, materialistic enjoyment and sale of commercial products.

Currently, the nine-night festival of Navaratri is on and one can find the newspapers  and hoarding full of ads regarding discount sale events coupled with market place music and dance festivities.

In Hinduism, Feminine Divine, Sacred Feminine or Shaktism is one of the three major religious and spiritual denominations of worship and meditation along with Vishnavism and Shaivism.

The main spiritual aspect of Navratri is to reclaim the God and Goddess within as well as harmonise the masculine and feminine divinities.

During Navaratri, two divinities, one as male energy and other as female energy, working as a pair, are to be realised within but with the notion that Shakti of Feminine Divine is the real principle of energy through which divinity functions.

Here are some of mine Haiku free-verses to describe Feminine Divine.

Divine feminine

is around and within us

waiting our response.

***

Divine feminine

is folded within her creation.

So unfold yourself.

***

Divine feminine

spirit is life's real essence

to be reclaimed.

***

Sensual joys make us

forget feminine divine -

cosmic oneness.

***

Hope, those target women for sensual and sexual gratification or objectify them for profiteering will wake up during Navratri this time for 'me too awakened' movement.
