  • HEARD THAT cricketer Yuvraj Singh and actress Deepika Padukone have broken up and the relationship, which started after the Twenty20 World Cup, which was more, like a Twenty20 match. Deepika is in Australia for a shooting and has brought an end to the affair. Maybe that is the reason why Yuvi was not in form but like a true friend Dhoni supported Yuvi. After the break up, Yuvi was out of the form whereas Dhoni came in full form. ‘Dal mein kuch kala lag raha hai, Mahi Ve! O Mahi Ve!’(Something’s wrong, Dhoni!)

  • WWE 2007 Champion, Khali is going to act in a Bollywood movie called ‘Rama - The Saviour’, starring Tanushree Dutta. Even heard that Tanushree, 5’7”, 60 kgs damsel would be engaged in a fight with Khali, 7’3”, 190 kgs. A fight to watch out for!

  • Pepsi has signed the Sharmas, Ishant and Rohit as their brand ambassadors replacing Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar. Tendulkar would still be associated to Pepsi. Hope Coca Cola got this news!

  • Mahendra Dhoni has been granted the permission by the court to build an indoor Swimming pool at his residence in Ranchi. The area around his place has scarcity of water so the people have registered a complaint. But the appeal won’t have any effect and our Dhoni would remain unbeaten!

  • IPL team owners are trying to get in touch with the U-19 Indian players and are trying to woo them with hefty amounts to join their teams. Swashbuckling batsman, Virat Kohli (the Indian U-19 Captain) is the one in demand whose ton fetched him the man of the match award and helped the Indians reach the quarter-finals after defeating the West Indies.

  • New Zealand won the 5th and the final one dayer against England to clinch the 5 match-series. The final score stands at New Zealand-3, England-1.

  • Indian Grandmaster V Anand draws with Bulgarian Grandmaster Topalov in the Linares Chess tournament, thus maintaining the lead with a total of 4 points. The second phase of the tournament is likely to start on the 29th Feb 08 in Spain with Anand leading the points’ table.

  • Yograj Singh, Yuvraj Singh’s father is planning to make a film. Any guesses who would be the actor? Of course, our Yuvraj Singh, who’s more into Bollywood news these days rather than cricketing news!
