The smartphone, HTC EVO 4G will get the Android 2.2 aka Froyo on the 3rd day of August 2010. This will bring a host of new features on the smartphone which has made waves on its launch.
HTC EVO 4G owners can afford to keep their smiles bigger as Sprint will be rolling out the latest Android OS, Android 2.2 or Froyo (as it is popularly called). Sprint announced this as they have finished testing the updated OS from Google for the big smartphone from HTC, the HTC EVO 4G.

The features that will be bundled with the software update for the HTC EVO 4G include voice dialing over Bluetooth, the ability to store one’s applications on an external memory along with a four way camera rotation feature that would also rotate the camera icon in perspective of the view rotation.
The Android 2.2 will bring some other minor updates as well. The company claims to give an improved browser performance with a much faster JavaScript engine. Web browsing is one of the most sought after services on the phones nowadays. And this claim to have better performance is always welcome.The EVO 4G will also have the support for Flash 10x now.
