Bowling first, Indians will have to make a special effort today as their main spinner Harbhajan Singh has been ruled out of the match owing to an injury. He has been replaced by Amit Mishra.

Last match's top performer Suresh Raina has retained his place in the test squad at the cost of Yuvraj Singh, who it appears have been rested by the team management, owing to poor form and injury.

Sri Lanka, however, has brought back its star bowler Lasith Malinga back into the team along with Chanaka Welegedara. Malinga has been the chief tormentor of the Indian batsmen and was instrumental in Sri Lankan victory in the first match along with Muralitharan.

The Indians will have to clinch this match to equal the series but injury to some of the players in the team will make the task tough. This match will also be remembered for Sachin Tendulkar achieving the milestone of being the most capped player in Test matches.

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Captain), Virender Sehwag, Murali Vijay, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Suresh Raina, Amit Mishra, Abhimanyu Mithun, Ishant Sharma and Pragyan Ojha.
