Extending his full support to the student community of Jammu University, Rajiv strongly condemned the establishment of a police post inside the Jammu University Campus and urged to remove it immediately. He said that no university anywhere in the world has any such police post within its campus and Jammu University has the dubious distinction of achieving the first place in this.

He alleged that government should immediately issue instructions to the concerned authorities for removing of police post from within the university campus.
