THE ATTACK on the bus carrying Malala, 14, and her schoolmates has been denounced all over the world. Taliban got angry since Malala had been campaigning for the girls’ right to an education. she was shot in the head by the Taliban. She is currently under treatment in a military hospital in Rawalpindi. Malala is still on a ventilator in a critical condition.
In Karachi, thousands of worshippers cupped their hands towards heavens in supplication for Malala’s recovery and health.
“She is a Western-minded girl. She always speaks against us. We will target anyone who speaks against the Taliban,” said Pakistani Taliban.
Amnesty International UK wrote on their website, "Since the age of 11 Malala has been an outspoken advocate of education for girls in Pakistan. She was driven to fight for this right when the Taliban took over her town and banned female education."
"Now, she lies fighting for her life in a hospital bed. She remains in a critical condition while Shazia and Kainat thankfully appear to be on the way to recovery," added the website.
