Star Sports Pro Kabaddi: Bengal Warriors outclass Jaipur Pink Panthers
Bengal Warriors who beat the Jaipur Pink Panthers 34-20 in a PKL match of season 3 played at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium in Kolkata on Wednesday, now find themselves at the top of the PKL 2016 points table with 26 points.

Bengal Warriors led by Nilesh Shinde have so far played six matches in season 3 of PKL and won five. Their only loss cam at the hands of the Patna Pirates, a team which is in full form and remains unbeaten so far.

The Jaipur Pink Panthers however have had a slow start to the tournament managing to win just two out of their five games so far. With just 11 points, the Pink Panthers are at fifth spot on the table.

While the Panthers kept playing safe throughout the game, the Bengal Warriors kept attacking. At half-time scores were more or less at level in favour of Bengal Warriors 10-9. It seemed that it would be a low scoring match.

Girish Harnik of the Warriors took a review resulting in an all-out for the Panthers, which took the hosts to a massive lead. Nitin Tomar kept rattling Jaipur at regular intervals, proving why he is so far the top raider in season 3 of the PKL.

Soon the score read 29-14, heavily in favour of the Bengal Warriors. Jang Kun Lee conducted a super raid and collected 3 points, taking the lead of the Warriors to 33-16. Jaipur finished with the lowest score by any team in PKL 2016.
