Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League: Patna Pirates beat Dabang Delhi 47-34
Patna Pirates continue their unbeaten run in season 3 of the PKL so far. The Pirates scored a thumping 47-34 victory over Dabang Delhi in a match played on Friday at the Shree Chhatrapati Shivaji Sports Complex.

The Pirates find themselves at the top of the points table of the Pro Kabaddi League with 33 points, while Dabang Delhi is at the last place with just 2 points. Delhi has lost all seven matches, which they have played so far.

Dabang Delhi started with a steady lead of 5-1 by the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a false alarm thanks to the efforts of Pradeep and Deepak Narwal.

Deepak Narwal started raiding with confidence and tasted blood by getting Anil and Ani Nimbolkar in one raid. The Pirates inflicted an all-out on Delhi in the 15th minute. Soon the Pirates progressed to a 20-15 lead by half-time.

The second half proved even more beneficial for the Pirates as Delhi were unable to put up a resistance. Pradeep and Deepak went on to record their `super ten'.

Deepak was the top scorer with 13 points, including two tackle points. By the 29th minute the scores read 28-15 and with the third all-out the score reached 38-18.

Dabang Delhi were able to score an all-out to narrow the margin of defeat to 29-46. Dabang Delhi coach Balwant Singh was given a yellow card, the second of the league.
