Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League: U Mumba starts with a win against Telugu Titans
Last season's title holders U Mumba started season 3 of the Pro Kabaddi League by defeating Telugu Titans 27-25 at an encounter at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium in Vizag on Saturday night.

U Mumba raider Rishank Devadiga was instrumental in raiding the Titans, leaving their defence exposed. Both teams were almost at par with a score of 5 all till the eighth minute. However, when the U Mumba coach replaced Shabeer Bappu with Devadiga, the situation changed drastically for U Mamba. Devadiga immediately accumulated two and five points from two raids and tilted the balance in U Mumba's favour.

Although Rahul and Sukesh were able to secure some points for the Titans, but trailed by 18-8 at break time. Mumba continued to maintain a lead by gaining 10-point lead 10 minutes into the second half.

Reeling at 13-25, the only hope for the Titans came in the form of Sukesh, who managed to reduce the margin to 20-26.

In another Pro Kabaddi League encounter yesterday, Bangaluru Bulls defeated Delhi Dabang by 25-29.

The win for Bengaluru came easy as they took a 9-0 lead in the first four minutes of the game itself. Surjit Narwal and Deepak Dahia, the raiders of Bengaluru were brilliant, while Kashiling Adake was impressive for Delhi.
