Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Movie review
Yesterday I finally walked into a movie hall and watched one of my all time favorites. Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Even though the force really did not awaken in this film, it did not make it less enjoyable especially knowing the next one will be released by the end of the year.

The movie brought back so many memories of the first Star Wars film that I saw at the Sterling Cinema almost 35 years ago.

Similar in scope and with a leaning towards a kind of antiquity despite the 3D special effects that are pretty much fun to see. It was also good to sea both Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford once again with the alien Chewbacca.

Naturally a little tragedy is called for and it happens with the demise of Han Solo at the hands of his son. Kind of a dynastic feel, the movie has with the extended family and all their issues and relationships.

But still a highly enjoyable film and well acted out despite the rather cliched dialogue that would be inevitable in a movie like this that has had 6 previous versions. Would I see it again? Sure.
