As far as economic development in Bihar is concerned the state is getting some positive attention from many quarters. Recently, the minister in charge of the state had gone on record saying that the people of Bihar wanted development on all fronts.
State of Bihar has a good history – Goddess Sita, who is adored and worshipped by millions of Hindus, is believed to have been born in this state before she was moved to Janakpur in Nepal. Lord Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, was also born in this State. Apart from them, Lord Mahavir, who is adored and worshipped by the Jain community and Sant Guru Gobind Singh, who is one of the most revered Gurus in Sikh community, were also born in Bihar.
State of Bihar must focus on achieving 100% electricity generation and distribution (uninterrupted) in all its territory; once power is assured, automatically investments (both domestic and foreign) will begin pouring in for rapid economic growth.
If Bihar gets converted into a fully fledged economic front line state, this will be an inspiration for other states which want to catch up with rapid economic growth. Hoping everything goes well for the planners of this state on all fronts so that these new goals can be met soon.
