Steve Jobs health creates tizzy amongst Apple buffs
Steve Jobs' health has been a topic of discussion since the day he filed for medical leave. Doctors who have followed his case closely, say that he was visiting Stanford Cancer Center in Palo Alto, and might not survive for more than 6 weeks.
IF RUMOURS are to be believed, the co founder of Apple Inc., Steve Job (Steven Paul Jobs) who is suffering from pancreatic cancer may have just six weeks to live.

Inventor of revolutionary techno gadgets like iPod, iPad iPhone is on medical leave since January.

Last month he had mailed his employees "At my request, the board of directors have granted me a medical leave of absence so I can focus on my health".

As confirmed by a popular news site, Steve has been attending the Stanford Cancer Center in Palo Alto, California, where Hollywood star Patrick Swayze had sought radical chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer before his death in September 2009.

Steve underwent surgery for pancreatic cancer in 2004, where as had liver transplant in 2009. Though no recent picture of Steve has been published, it has been reported that Job’s weight crashed from 175 pounds to 130 pounds.

Close acquaintances of Steve are mum about the news, but Apple’s employees have said that Jobs can still be seen at the company's headquarters in California and is also calling all the strategic shots from his home.

Jobs, who will turn 56 on February 24, handed over per day responsibilities to Apple’s chief operating officer, Tim Cook, last month. Before going for medical leave, Jobs wrote “I love Apple so much and hope to be back as soon as I can. In the meantime, my family and I would deeply appreciate respect for our privacy.”

Presently, Apple is world’s second most valuable company in terms of market capitalisation. The company, listed on the NASDAQ, had a market value of over $321 billion as on January 17, 2011.

Jobs has always aspired to position Apple and its products at the forefront of the information technology industry by foreseeing and setting trends, at least in innovation and style.
