AMERICAN DYNAMIC IT czar Steve Job has been selected as the CEO of the decade by world’s prominent magazine Fortune.
Born in the year 1955, on February 24, in San Francisco, California, Steve Jobs has been instrumental in establishing one of world’ best IT companies Apple, which he founded along with Steve Wozniak in the year 1976. Since then the IT wizard hasn’t looked back, although he had his share of luck, swinging like pendulum.
Owing to some differences he was forced to leave the company that he founded in the year 1985, But he didn’t give up and bounced back surprisingly by launching his own new firm Next. Next is renowned for introducing revolutionary concepts related to higher education and corporate world. The success of Next again established Steve Jobs as the magician of IT business along side Bill Gates and others.
He was offered amazing amount from the company he founded Apple in the year 1997. Next was merged with Apple with a whooping business deal of $426 and became an arm of Apple after that. He was invited to again join Apple and since then (1997) Steve is working with Apple and setting new benchmarks for other competitors.
His achievements have fetched him numerous prestigious awards, in the year 2007, he was the most powerful businessman in the world in the list drawn by Fortune Magazine, awarded the National Medal of Technology in the year 1985 from the then president of America Ronald Reagan along with the cofounder of Apple Steve Wozniak and honored with Jefferson award for Public Service in the year 1987 (conferred upon people aged 35 or below with remarkable contribution in public service.
