Steve Jobs once called an Apple manager a 'f***chop'

Many remember Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, to be one of the best CEOs of the world, but it is primarily due to his business strategies. Though there were employees in his company who don't share the same opinion when it came to Jobs the boss. This was the case with Bill Gates too.

ASK ANYONE on the street, what is common between Bill Gates and Steve Jobs? Answers such as successful, rich, famous, best CEOs, innovators, Apple, Microsoft, etc., would dominate the answers. But, these answers have been refuted by some employees who have worked under them, as they considered them to be not one of the best bosses due to how they treated them and the sometimes abusive language they used.

The Microsoft boss, BIll Gates, was in the past, in the headlines for his behaviour towards his fellow employees. Now, the same has come to the forefront with the former Apple boss, Steve Jobs. One of the former senior managers of the company, Andy Grignon, has revealed that he was once called 'f***chop', reported ANI, by the Apple boss during the time. In 2001, a judge had once also stated that Bill Gates has a Napaleonic concept about himself.

Steve Jobs may be well-known across the world as a successful and a jolly CEO but people who knew the person closely don't hold the same view. Some say that he was not one of the nicest bosses around. Walter Isaacson, a former Chairman and CEO of CNN, also stated to ANI that Jobs was not warm and possibly could have been the world's worst managers. Walter Isaacson also wrote a biography about Steve Jobs. If measured as per success achieved, he might be the best, but we have to think again, as far as his employees' treatment is concerned.

But many would say that a boss is someone who has to be brutal and rude in order to get his and the company's work done. Perhaps, it was such a kind of principle which these CEOs incorporated in their work ethic, which led them to be one of the most successful CEOs of all time. Look at both the companies, Apple and Microsoft, where are they? They are doing some of the best business in the world.

But, being at the helm of the company affairs they could have managed their employees in a better manner when it cam to inter-personal relations. Lakhs of people who worked under the name of Apple and Microsoft must have looked into them as a role model, all the more reason for being better role models.

Let the man's soul rest in peace. We all do abuse at some point in our life - not tht we always mean what we say. Just to be in limelight there is no point bringing out old grudges.
