Symptoms of Still’s disease
The disease starts with body wide symptoms. Extreme fatigue, very high fever and higher or rapidly return to normal levels or below. Fever rises daily nearly the same time every day. A salmon colored rash appears on skin and does not itch. Loss of appetite, nausea and weight loss is seen, sore throat and arthritis with joint swelling appears after rash and fever.
Treatment of Still’s disease Still’s disease can cause serious damage to the joints, mostly joints. Many symptoms are often controlled with anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin or other non steroid drugs. Cortisone medications like prednisone are also used to treat more severe features of illness.
