Stockholm: Sweden's capital city on water offers you a lot for sightseeing and leisure time activities
The city centre of Stockholm is situated on the water and is spread over many islands as well as on the junction of Lake Malaren and Baltic Sea, informs Nawal Kishore, who is visiting his son working in the city.

If one wishes to travel around and see various places and sites in the city, one can buy a combined day-long bus and boat ticket to do a hop-on hop-off sightseeing tour.

Many visitors who come for a longer stay often travel to different islands and lakes of Stockholm. Even walking on the streets is interesting.

Several areas of Stockholm have joint valley terrains with low-lying plateaus inhabiting people and water supplied from Lake Malaren.  Many lakes have been reclaimed for settlements.  The lakes of Stockholm are directly affected by the city's sewer system and pollution from settlements, traffic, and industry.

The nature reserves in Stockholm are worth visiting and enjoying leisure time activities with lighting of fires, camping, anchoring, etc., in a well maintenance area.

Sager House, Rosenbad, Stockholm City Hall, Royal Palace in Stockholm and other places like Sergels Torg, Norrmalm, Slussen, Riddarholmskyrkan, etc., are good for sighting and shopping.
