Strangest places you never thought existed in our Incredible India
Our country is just too incredible to be true. In fact, one life in just not enough to see what India has to offer for tourists, unless you believe in reincarnation. India is truly blessed with scenic beauty, serene beaches, mountains, flora and fauna.

Apart from the scenic beauty, India is also a land of mysteries which can surprise anyone, and if you think that you have seen it all, you couldn't be more wrong.

So, here are a few things and places you never thought existed in India:

Poor man's `Taj Mahal', Bibi Ka Maqbara, Aurangabad

Did you know that a replica of the Taj Mahal existed in India? Popularly known as `Mini Taj', the monument was built in the 17th century, within 30 years of its original inspiration the Taj Mahal of Agra. Bibi Ka Maqbara was commissioned by Mughal Emperor Auranzeb and built by his son Prince Azam Shah, in memory of his mother. Though it is almost half the size of the original Taj Mahal, Bibi Ka Maqbara in Aurangabad is truly a marvelous piece of architecture.

Come dine with the dead at New Lucky Restaurant, Ahmedabad

Call it creepy, or call it absurd, but India offers a unique dining experience to kill for. The New Lucky Restaurant in Ahmedabad is a café which is built over a centuries-old Muslim cemetery. The graves which are said to be of a 16th century Sufi saint, lie between tables. Guests dining there don't seem to mind the graves, and I guess the guys sleeping inside them don't either!

Even motorcycles are worshipped in India- Bullet Baba Shrine, Rajasthan

India is a land where Gods and Goddesses are worshipped, but we don't spare motorcycles either. The only country in the world where you will find the shrine of a Bullet motorcycle is India. As per legend at Bandai, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, Om Singh Rathore crashed his Bullet into a tree while riding drunk. The police arrived at the scene and took the bike to the police station. Shockingly the bike was found at the accident site the next day. After the incident the Bullet motorcycle was permanently moved to the accident site and the Om Baba (popular as Bullet Baba) Shrine was erected. Passers-by offer their prayers and the spirit of Om Baba, it is believed protects travelers.

Visa Balaji Temple, Hyderabad

Even our Gods it seems have matured and progressed with time, as they are now beginning to realize how difficult it can be to get a US Visa for an average Indian. The 21st century God popularly known as Visa Balaji can help you secure a US Visa, if you seek his blessings. The Visa Balaji Temple is located in Chilkur, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, and is visited by anguished Visa seekers across multiple faiths. If they do get a Visa, they must keep up their vow to take 108 rounds of the inner shrine. You can have a laugh at it if you want, but it's another example of how two worlds coexist in our great country.

Dog Temple, Karnataka – Even Dogs are worshipped in India

Dog, a man's best friend is also worshipped in India. A community in Channapatna's Ramnagar district has built an unusual temple where Dog God is worshipped. As per locals, dogs are considered loyal and good-natured. The Dog God is worshipped alongside the village deity.
