Student indicted for harming Scientology website
Mettenbrink, a member of the cyber group 'Anonymous' was indicted for attempting to destroy church of Scientology websites, by a LA grand jury. He had executed a DDOS attack against church computers, with a program of the anti-scientology group.
ON WEDNESDAY, October 28, a federal grand jury in Los Angeles, indicted Brian Thomas Mettenbrink, a member of the cyber group Anonymous, for his part in the January 2008 attempted destruction of Scientology websites, owned by the Church of Scientology.
Brain is the second member of Anonymous to face criminal charges relating to this attack. In May 2009, Dmitriy Guzner, then 18, pleaded guilty to computer hacking charges for his role in the attack on church computers. He is currently awaiting sentencing.

.Today's Scientology is not the group that I joined, so many years ago. The corruption that has flourished under David Miscavige has perverted this group beyond recognition. If it takes a couple of pranks to wake people up about the crimes this group commits, that seems like a reasonable thing. Civil rights would not have gotten far if Rosa Parks had not broken the unjust regulations of her time by refusing to sit in the back of the bus.

To be caught in a cult does not take gullibility or stupidity. I studied them extensively in an anthropology program at NEIU, and learned that anyone can be brainwashed. You have to avoid walking into the trap altogether, or you might get caught. That is why those on the outside must take action.

Stop reading newspapers and magazines. The chaos-merchants are pulling out all the stops with their attacks on the Scientology religion. They hate it because they know it works. They hate it specifically because they know it has improved the lives of tens of millions of people who are proud to call themselves Scientologists. Yes, stop trying to learn about Scientology from these anarchists and other criminals on the payroll of Big Psychiatry. Pick up a copy of Dianetics at a local Stress Test table. Come on down to your nearest Scientology org, and talk to the people there. They'll be happy to offer you an introductory Stress Test, and a nice discount when you purchase two or more of Mr. Hubbard's numerous New York Times Bestsellers' List books.
Scientologists claim to be so free and able, but they must hide from all information outside the words of the 1950's science fiction writer who founded their cult. Sad.

.let me just add... Scamatomologists recently sent themselves a bunch of letters with powder in them, which they tried to blame on Anonymous. Yes, they are known for this kind of behavior as well. Look into how they take the passports from third world people, who are lured out of poverty with a promise of a job... then are enslaved on ships and paid 45 cents an hour.
Breaking the law is never okay. If people have a problem with the management of Scientology, they have to battle it out in a non-criminal way. Hacking is a felony and once it is allowed against one group, other groups will follow. Guzner and Mettenbrink are young fools. Anonymous is full of young fools.
