MANDI GOBINDGARH is the last post of District Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab as traffic speeds down the GT Road to Amritsar and beyond from New Delhi. It is the mini steel town of India. And prosperity only grows here with the town emerging as an IT Center and educational hub. This small town in the backyard of Punjab has not been touched by recession.
Gobindgarh Public College (GPC) based in Alour on the outskirts of the town is a leading college for commerce stream in the area. Its students find placement in the local accounting BPO - Sunil Khullar InfoTech.
The students undergo a rigorous selection process. Their names are forwarded to the company by the Placement Cell Coordinator - Gopal Krishan. On reaching the company for interview, they are received by Sanjeev Kumar. Apart from general awareness, their accounting aptitude is also checked by the CEO - Sunil Khullar.
This time close to 50 students participated in the interview process. Vishal Mohra, Manish and Puneet were selected. The Principal - Dr. S. Tandon alongwith College Trustees congratulated the students who were successfully placed. Sunil Khullar thanked the college authorities for their cooperation in helping him recruit local talent in his company.
