Study on needs and requirements of Indian Muslims as consumers
Around 12,000 Muslims will participate in a first-of-its-kind study, which will find out the needs and requirements of Muslim consumers. Blossom Media Pvt. Ltd. a research, advisory and media firm on emerging Muslim consumers is conducting this survey.

SPEAKING ABOUT the need o this survey, Director Marketing and Public Relations, Ziaulla Nomani said, “This is a unique and first of its kind, happening in India; it has created a great interest amongst Muslims as it is giving them a chance to put forth their needs and requirements for the products they are looking for.”

He further maintained that the result of this survey will also help the marketers to understand this community better and they can pitch their message to them in a way, which is more acceptable to them.

The excerpt of the findings will be published in the Blossom Media’s flagship publication, Muallim-India’s only Muslim lifestyle magazine. The sample audience of the survey will be from Mumbai. The survey will speak to Muslims who are well versed with English language and understand their consumption needs.

The time frame is of this survey is of two months; the findings will be declared in March 2013. The respondents will be the subscribers of Muallim and the other audience who are into business and are working professionals, etc.

Blossom Media is expecting around 12,000 people to participate in this unique survey. Before this, Blossom Media undertook the Muslim friendly hospitality service survey, which was a joined venture between the US and Singapore-based firms, Dinarstandard and Crescent rating respectively. Currently this marketing firm is promoting the Islamic Finance course for Indian students to be held in SESUL in Sri Lanka.
