Sukhbir Badal says seat sharing with BJP in Delhi 'No issue'
The Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal today cleared that there was no issue of seat sharing between SAD and its ally Bhartiya Janata Party in New Delhi and soon the decision of both parties would before the people.

Talking to media persons here after expressing grief with Mr. Parkash Singh Bhatti, former MLA from Balluana on the demise of his father Mr. Niranjan Singh Balluana here, Mr. Badal said that SAD-BJP was an inseparable alliance and it was very internal issue of the alliance, which would be soon resolved amicably. He said that talks were on and the decision would be out within few days.

In a query relating to any uncertainty between SAD-BJP seats sharing, Mr. Badal rubbishing the same said that the senior leadership of Delhi BJP and SAD leaders was constantly in touch with each-other to finalise the poll strategy including announcement of seats. Mr. Badal also announced that in Rajasthan though Shiromani Akali Dal would not contest the elections but it would strongly support ally BJP.

On being asked about his recent investment promotion visit to Mumbai, Mr. Badal said that the visit fetch the tremendous response from industrial captains, which would convert the dream of Industrial revolution of Punjab into reality. Mr. Badal said they have successfully convinced the industrial honchos including TATA, Reliance, Mahindra, Hindujas and scores of other industrial leaders. He said that as per the discussion with heads of industrial houses, soon Punjab would witness massive investments in different areas education, industry, healthcare, real estate, textile, IT etc besides generating job avenues for youngsters.

Answering a query regarding different tax in state, Mr. Badal said that no government can function without collection of genuine taxes and Punjab was the lone state collecting minimum taxes from citizens as compare to other states in the country. He said that the hue and cry over taxes was baseless creation of Punjab Congress, which should understand the fact that their own Congress led UPA Government was dependent on taxes being collected from states to function.
