The New Orleans Times Picayune reported that the victims, a 25 year old man, a 30 year old woman and a 36 year old woman suffered minor injuries.
Police said that the victims were standing near a crowd near Iberville and Bourbon streets when they heard gunshots and realized that they had been hit. However, the victims’ names were not released by the police.With the New Orleans winning the Super bowl 2010, the crowd was one of the many that filled the French Quarter on and off until dawn celebrating the Saint’s win over the Colts.Many people were dressed in the Saint’s colors, Black and Gold, threw confetti, sand and danced, blew bubbles etc and celebrated the victory.
