DURING THE Super Bowl 2010 Abe Vigoda for Snickers and Doritos were two notable Super Bowl commercials. Golden Girls fame  Abe Vigoda and Betty White were in Snickers candy funny commercial. The Doritos ad features a martian and promises that no humans were harmed during its making. 

The top 10 commercials brand during last night’s Brand Bowl were: Doritos, Google, Focus on Family, Snickers, Budweiser, Bud Light, Hyundai, Kia and Go Daddy. The most popular brands were McDonald’s and Dr. Pepper. Actor Mike Rylander appears in a commercial for Doritos which aired during the Super Bowl.

 A low-budget Doritos commercial, Snack Attack Samurai shot by two Minneapolis filmmakers Ben Krueger and Cole Koehler aired during the big game. This ad finished 17th out of 63 ads. It featured a chip used as a Chinese throwing star.

On the other hand, Doritos’ dark ad featured a dog that turns on its owner. The Doritos commercial, "Underdog," which aired for the first time nationally during yesterday's Super Bowl placed second in USA TODAY's annual consumer-ranked Super Bowl Ad Meter. Nationwide consumer votes put "Casket," "House Rules," "Snack Attack Samurai" and "Underdog" in the Super Bowl spotlight, from six finalist ads in the fourth annual Doritos "Crash the Super Bowl" program.
