The Super Bowl 2010 game will pile on points as the New Orleans Saints fight the Indianapolis Colts for the game title. With players like Drew Brees, Jeremy Shockey one side and Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne on other, excitement in on a fever pitch.
EXPECTATIONS REIGN sky high as all are anxious over who would win at the Super Bowl XLIV which happens this Sunday, February 7, in Miami. The game is expected to pile in points even as the The New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts fight it out for the game.
This season the New Orleans Saints have raked in a league-high 510 points, becoming first in offense. On the other hand, the Indianapolis Colts have gotten 416 points this season and rank ninth in offense.
A lot of action is expected from this Super Bowl game, with New Orleans Saints having effective players like the sure shot Quarterback Drew Brees, reciever Marques Colston, dependable Running backs like Reggie Bush and enders like Jeremy Shockey and David Thomas, who can alwaysd be counted to break the opposing defense.
On the other hand, Indianapolis Colts has Peyton Manning apart from 1000 yard recievers like Reggie Wayne and TE Dallas Clark.
Bets on the Super Bowl game have put Indianapolis Colts as the five point favourite, as the team had won the last Super Bowl game, which happened here three years ago. However, not many can call it a clear Indianapolis Colts game, with the New Orleans Saints playing great plays this season at 75, 68, 66, 55, 54, 41, 37 and 36 yards.
Then there is also the question of whether Defensive end Dwight Freeney from the Colts would play or not, which could give an advantage to either side. Freeney is suffering from ankle ligament tear and his absence could pep up Drew Brees for a splendid performance.
In the end, its hard to say which way this Super Bowl game would go. However, it easy to bet that the excitement would be on a fever pitch here this Sunday.
