Super foods to keep stress at bay
Because of the stress our body releases hormones that cause heart palpitation and extra alertness. It is followed by increased cellular activity and poor digestion. If this keeps on happening for a long time our immune system slowly becomes weak and our aging process fast.

HOWEVER, WITH the help of diet rich in nutrients, you can relax yourself and help fight the stress. So, to be stress-free you need to go for a diet, which is rich in anti-oxidants and minerals. Dieticians suggest having these foods four to five times a day helps in combating stress. Here is the list of some super foods that are rich in vitamins, minerals and flavinoids that will help you to de-stress.

First in the list are oranges. They are a rich source of vitamin C and also contain cancer-fighting phyto-chemicals and flavonoids. A glass of orange juice in the morning will provide you lots of essential nutrients along with anti-aging elements. Individuals who eat oranges record lower levels of cortisoles and lower blood pressure; they are also a natural energy booster. So, take a moment to peel the orange and get de-stressed.

Second one is apple; stress can lead to craving for sugar and carbohydrates. Apples are remarkably rich in fiber and phyto-chemicals and are easily digested. The phyto-chemicals present in apples have a wide range of health benefits. More importantly, they stabilize the blood sugar levels, keeping up energy levels.

Next on the list are bananas. This fruit is full of nutrients including potassium and magnesium.
