Sushma Swaraj tears into her Pakistani counterpart Sartaj Aziz with 9 barbed tweets
Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has never been known as someone who would mince her words. Be it replying to questions in the Parliament or addressing important issues on social media, the minister is always forthcoming and straightforward.

On Monday, the Minister's Pakistani counterpart got a lesson of his life in management of foreign affairs when he faced Sushma Swaraj's ire over not showing courtesy to the latter.

In a series of thorny tweets on Monday morning, Swaraj rebuked Sartaj Aziz for not showing enough courtesy, by not acknowledging her personal letter written to him requesting a visa for Kulbhushan Jhadav's mother.

Also, showing sarcasm, she promised Aziz that any Pakistani national seeking a medical visa for travelling into India, recommended by him, would be provided one immediately.

While tearing into Aziz, Swaraj bluntly reminded him that the visa application of Avantika Jhadav, the mother of 46-year-old Kulbhushan Jhadav – who has been sentenced to death – was pending withthe Pakistani authorities.

Kulbhushan Jhadav was allegedly arrested from Pakistan's Balochistan province last year and later sentenced to death by a Pakistani military court on charges of spying and espionage.
