The state criminal investigation department said that preliminary investigations have revealed that Lashkar commanders in Pakistan were planning to carry out anti- India activities through the Indians trained on Pakistani soil.
RAJASTHAN'S ANTI - TERRORIST squad has arrested three suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba men. They have been identified as Babu alias Nishachandra Ali of Bikaner, Arun Jain of Nagaur and Hafiz Abdul Majid of Jhalawar.

State Government sources said that Additional Director of Police (ATS) Hemant Sharma has been assigned the task of conducting further investigations and interrogating the arrested Lashkar men.The arrest of these suspected terrorists assumes significance on account of the ensuing visit of US President Barack Obama, who is scheduled to come to India next month. It is being assumed that terrorists under direction from across the border will try to carry out a daring act in order to attract attention during the high profile visit.Alert has been sounded in the trouble torn state of Jammu and Kashmir as well due to strong apprehnsions of terror attacks prior to Obama's visit or during his stay in the country.
