THE TEST series between England and India is one of the most awaited series of the summer as both teams have quality players who can outdo one another. Though, the pitch may provide more aid to the faster bowlers, the spinners will be playing a major role in the series in England. Harbhajan Singh and Graeme Swann are the frontline spinners in their respective teams. They would be playing a vital role in their teams' performances in the upcoming series.

Many experts around the world believe that Swann is presently the best spinner in the world. He has been troubling many batsmen around the world with his bowling since he made his Test debut against India in Chennai. Harbhajan Singh might be fired up in the series as he needs to prove himself to various people who say Swann is the best spinner and Harbhajan would view this as a challenge.

Harbhajan has been carrying the Indian spin attack on his shoulders for many years now. He has experience by his side, as he has played more than 90 Test matches for India. He reached the magic 400 wickets mark in the last test series against West Indies, where he looked good in certain patches. Swann has not played many Test matches at the international level, but still the potential of the English spinner has been spotted by many cricketers and experts. He has taken around 140 wickets till date with a decent average.

Rahul Dravid has already come out in the open and said that Swann would play a very important role in the series. He feels that the Indian team would be keen on the contest against him and would like to attack the bowler. Attack may be the best form of defence against the English bowler. The English batsmen may also follow on the same lines of attacking the Indian spinner and upset his line and length.
