Sydney Harbour Bridge ready for spectacular New Year's Eve celebrations
The New Year's Eve celebrations in Australia's Sydney are deemed to be one of the best in the world and preparation for the show and fireworks are in full swing. People vie for getting the seat at Vantage points around the harbour and inner city to have great views of the fireworks.

The fireworks display at the Harbour Bridge celebration will be done twice. First at 9:00 pm, which is known as the Family Fireworks Display, then at midnight to welcome the New Year 2016. The midnight fireworks display will be the most spectacular with rockets firing from four barges and the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

However, the pre-show entertainment will start at around 7 pm local time with an aerial and water displays followed by Pylon projections marked welcome ceremony to mark respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples' heritage and living culture.

After 9.30 pm fireworks for children, the Harbour of Light Parade will be held in which Sydney Harbour will be illuminated with up to 60 ships gliding and dancing across the water, enchanting spectators.

At the stroke of midnight, there will be 12 minute display of pyrotechnic effects from 7 barges in the harbour, 4 sails of the Sydney Opera House, and firing points from across the Sydney Harbour Bridge. This is said to be the most remarkable scene in the world to announce the advent of New Year.
