AFTER INDIA'S journey that came to an end at the T20 World Cup, West Indies takes on Australia but Chris Gayle's hopes of getting into the semi final are very bleak as Sri Lanka and Australia are well ahead in terms of run rate.

AFTER INDIA’S journey that came to an end at the T20 World Cup, West Indies takes on Australia but Chris Gayle’s hopes of getting into the semi final are very bleak as Sri Lanka and Australia are well ahead in terms of run rate.

West Indies captain, Gayle won the toss and elected to bat. West Indies started off well but their captain got out in the first over after hitting a four. West Indies needs to score a huge total so that they put Australia under pressure and win the match though it seems to be a herculean task at the moment.

West Indies hope that their big guns Pollard and Sammy strike well for their team so that chances of getting into semis rise.

Australia is doing well in this series without any losses under their belt.They have become the favourites this time with their opening pair and great bowling. Sarwan and Chanderpaul made a good partnership until Chanderpaul was declared out after a splendid catch by David Hussey.
