MEDIA REPORTS suggest that a talent hunt for transgenders is on the anvil and the TV show is going to begin with auditions in 10 cities.
Transgenders have been shunned by society and even denied equal rights but slowly the things are changing. Now, they have organised themselves as a social minority group and are fighting for equal rights.
The reports indicate that it was in the 1980s that the term transgender was expanded to unite all those whose gender identity did not mesh with their gender assigned at birth.

~Cities for audition: 10
~Audition in Delhi: January 13
