THE PRAN Prathistha ceremony of Kailashnath Mahadev, the world’s tallest Shiva Statue standing at 143 feet was religiously completed on June 21st 2010 under the guidance of his Holiness Badhrikadham Pithadeeshwar Anant Shree Vibhushit Shankaracharya Swami Shree Madhavashramji Maharaj at Kathumandu here.

The Statue was erected under the guidance of Maturam Barma, who has also been involved erecting similar statues in Mauritius and Delhi. More than 300 Nepalese and a dozen of Indian laborers worked hard to complete this marvelous feat. The statue is Zinc and copper coated so as to protect it from weathering.

Kamal Jain, a renowned businessman, is the master brain behind this statue. This is not his first step for a socio- religious cause; he has been involved in various fields to provide support to police and other departments.
