Tamil movie Vandhaan Vendraan: Movie review
Vandhaan Vendraan is about to hit the theatres and people are waiting eagerly to see as to what rabbits R. Kannan has pulled out of his bag this time. Magic is sure to happen with the kind of storyline that the film is based on.

R. KANNAN, THE disciple of Mani Ratnam is all set to enthral the audience with his latest release Vandhaan Vendraan. Although he has treaded on similar paths but the story is sure to entertain the audience with exceptional performances by the actors. It is an old love-revenge story with few funny one liners by the supporting cast. With Jiiva and Taapsee as the leading actors, Vandhaan Vendraan is sure to hit the mark with the audience.

The story revolves around love and retribution as Jiiva playing the character of Arjun is a Boxer and Taapsee is an architect. After helping her with her job, Arjun quickly falls in love with the girl. Taapsee, on the other hand, is an Indian girl, and asks him to ask her father for her hand. Unlike the normal scenario, when he goes to meet the father of the bride, the father is killed by a bullet fired by a Mumbai Don. The distraught daughter accepts to marry the hero if he avenges the death of her father, thus forcing Arjun to take to an unknown city of Mumbai in pursuit of her happiness.

The story, as a screenplay, has the right mixture of emotions such as love, sadness, revenge, sibling rivalry, yet at places it falls flat. There are questions about the film that that can't be answered logically - like Arjun is a budding boxer and a dedicated one at that but what is it that happens that he forgets that part of his life completely and chases someone’s else's demons. As far as acting goes, both Jiiva and Tapasee are superb. The supporting actors have also executed their parts well. Both the leads look well together and the songs of the movie are already very popular among the audience.
