Tanushree Dutta gets legal notice from Nana Patekar and Vivek Agnihotri
The skirmish between former actress Tanushree Dutta and Nana Patekar doesn't seem to be ending.

According to latest developments, Tanushree Dutta has received legal notices from Nana Patekar and Vivek Agnihotri. The former Bollywood actress had accused the duo of sexual misconduct and harassment.

As confirmed by the actress, she received the legal notices on Wednesday. Tanushree had come out in public with her harassment story which occurred on a film set around 10 years ago.

She also levelled charges about two unknown individuals trying to enter her house. The former actor said that she was being threatened and had been given police protection. Tanushree further told that she was getting violent threats MNS party.

As alleged, she was sexually molested by Nana Patekar and asked to take off her clothes during a dance shoot of Vivek Agnihoti directed Chocolate.

The actress released a statement on Wednesday saying, "This is the price you pay for speaking out against harassment, humiliation and injustice in India."

Tanushree also claimed that the teams of the director and the actor were out to smear her reputation with "outright lies and misinformation on social media platforms and other public platforms".

She lamented about the rights of Indian women saying that in India, justice does not come in time for women.  She painted a grim picture for women's rights in India.

Tanushree was quoted as saying, "Tareek pe tareek pe tareek' and the dawn of justice never arrives and her whole life goes waste awaiting justice while witnesses are intimidated, discredited or simply drained of their will to stand up..False witnesses supporting perpetrators conjured up to further weaken her case. Court cases can run for decades without a hope for a conclusion. At the end an empty shell remains, broken hopes, a life wasted, defeated. This is the age old saga of survivors in our nation."

The actress also added that these are the reasons why women hesitate to come up and speak about their stories.

Many Bollywood stars have come forward and spoken in her favour which includes Ayushmann Khurrana, Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra and a few more.
