Tata DOCOMO and Alcatel launch their first mobile phone
The services in Yahoo includes Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Messenger, Yahoo Contacts and Calendar, Yahoo Homepage, Yahoo Search with Voice, Yahoo Social Pulse and Flickr.
TATA DoCoMo in association with handset manufacturer Alcatel has announced the launch of their first co-founded handset OneTouch Net Phone which is priced at Rs 5,499. The phone comes with two buttons that instantly launch Yahoo services and DoCoMo's Dive In portal. The phone offers preloaded Yahoo services which is directly integrated into the device that enable the users to stay connected with just a click of the button.
On the release of the phone, Deepak Gulati, President of GSM and 3G at Tata Teleservices Limited, said that the OneTouch Net is an affordable solution targeted at the digital youth who want to stay connected to the Internet and information services on their mobile phones. A suite of Yahoo!'s leading products are pre-loaded and directly integrated into the device—this phone has an ergonomic QWERTY keyboard and a special optical track-pad, and is designed for easy navigation, communication and Internet service.
