Acharya Devvrat said that society was changing rapidly and development took place during past few years, but it was unfortunate that humanity and values in the society were missing among young generation.
He said that a person who feels the pain of others was a human in a true sense and compassion, pettiness and affection were the part of Indian rich culture and urged the young generation to follow our rich traditions.
He also urged the degree holders to involve themselves in social activities for the up-liftment of the society and sensitise the people about drug abuse and female feticide.
The Governor congratulated the students and wished them success in their life. The Governor also awarded degrees to the students.
Earlier, Principal, DAV college Prof. Kamdev Jha welcomed the Governor and briefed about the activities and achievement of the college.
A cultural programme was also performed by the students on the occasion.
