Team JK Against Corruption organised grand seminars on "International Women's Day" across Jammu region
On the occasion of "International Women's Day", Team JK Against Corruption under the chairmanship of Vikram Singh Badhwal organised various seminars across Jammu region.

The grand seminar was held at DVD School, Jammu which was organised by Rajeev Sethi in which SHO Women Cell, Jammu, Anita ji was present along with social activist Scruti ji; Leela Jamwal, vice-chairman; Raj Roop Singh, vice-chairman; Rajan Gupta, president; Raj Kumar, working president; Bipan Singh Bakshi, vice-president; Gourav Kapoor, organizer; Hoshair Singh; Chaman Angral; Uma Devi along with other members.

In district rural Tarseem Manhas organised a meeting at Malpur New Sanik Colony in which Omkar Singh, Asha Rani along with members of JKAC, Jammu rural were present.

Besides Jammu urban & rural, various seminars on the occasion of "Women's Day" were organised at district headquarters in which district Samba president
Krishan Singh organised a seminar and was supported by MP Singh, district in-charge Samba along with Team JKAC, Samba.

In Kathua district a seminar was organized by Sohail Dogra and was attended by Robin Sharma, in-charge Samba-Kathua district along with other members of Team JKAC Kathua.

Team JK Against Corruption Udhampur organised a seminar on Women's Day at district hospital Udhampur under district president Rohit Padha along with Team members of JKAC, Udhampur.

In district Reasi, a grand seminar was organized by district president Rajeev Bathania at Glaxy Academy, Rasie.

In Ramban district of Chenab Valley, a seminar on Women's Day was organized by district in-charge Mudassir Hussain along his team.

According to a joint statement issued by JK Against Corruption members, the main aim of organising the seminars was to raise awarenessamong women about their basic rights and how to achieve them.

District president in their lecturesmade the women awareof their rights and encouraged them to participate in such seminars as theyhad been organized for them.

"Women need to be empowered for gaining collective strength as collective strength is necessary for building solidarity," chairman, JK Against Corruption, Vikram Singh said.

Meanwhile other members of JKAC and participants in a joint statement said, "We have to protect and respect the rights of women and support them to share their views at every level."

While concluding, chairman JKAC, Vikram Singh said that in order to fight against the socially contrasted gender basis, women have to swim against the stream that requires more strength as such strength only comes from the process of empowerment.

Chairman, JK Against Corruption, highly thanked the district presidents, in-charges of JKAC and other members for their support in organising seminars on "Women's Day".
