Teaser released: Udta Punjab - A trip behind the scenes
Ever since the trailer of Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanj and Alia Bahtt starrer 'Udta Punjab' has released, it has been creating a lot of ripples along with controversies. The film is continuously making headlines for some or the other reason. Presently, the makers of the film has released a 'Trip Behind The Scenes - Teaser' of the movie.

The film, with an intense plot and decent narration, has been appreciated by many B-town celebs and fans. Some also came forward to question one of its character's credibility and also asked on whose real character the protagonist's role had been based on.

However, setting aside all the buzz and controversies, the film is all set to release next month on 17th June, 2016. Udta Punjab, which is all set to redefine the way we look at multi-starrers films today, is based on drug meance in Punjab.

Reportedly, Shahid Kapoor's character in the film is based on ace Punjabi singer and rapper Honey Singh. Although, the filmmakers have officially denied any such claims, a source from the team of Udta Punjab told DNA, "The whole cult of the wild raunchy Punjabi rock star was spearheaded by Yo Yo Honey Singh. Toh kahin na kahin usski chabbi to aani hi hai. I'd say Shahid plays a much wilder and far more aggressive version of Yo Yo. It's a wild character who indulges in rampant substance abuse."

From Anupam Kher to Hrithik Roshan and director Madhur Bhandarkar almost every B-town celeb seem to have been thrilled with the trailer and are waiting for the film's release.
