Technology has made life easier, more efficient

TECHNOLOGY IS an essential feature of all professional sectors today. Now it has become a resource to endow an additional input to a particular sector. Technology is becoming a fundamental part of every sector so as to provide secure and uncompromising service to the common populace. What is needed is packaging the technology around each segment to take benefit of market opportunities.

In the past the technology stratagem was secondary. But now with the strides in know-how it has become as important as the commercial policy. While commissioning the technology or upgrading the systems, it is useful to be acquainted with its probable impact.

Technology no longer replicates human proceedings but endows us with a new technique of functioning and interacting. Every sector faces the mammoth task of re-orienting their infrastructure. Previous representation of the affiliation between IT providers was that suppliers provided paraphernalia and concepts which all segments had applied to their concerns. But now the correlation has undergone a change. IT industry relies on every sector’s expenditure on technology budgets and innovations in the use of technology. Such a challenging state of affairs requires IT providers to contemplate over exploring and growth efforts. With the demand and supply position in a flux both concerned segments and the IT companies are looking for closer association.

In the nineties, when the force of technology was in full swing, there was a divided opinion as to whether an organisation should lead the technology or they should follow it. The scenario that emerged thereafter is quite clear. Each and every organization, along with IT sector is going towards its destination hand in hand. Now information is available on the click of mouse only.

In the pre knowhow days everything was physical. The managerial and control procedures were analogous. The effort was towards ensuring that the laid down systems and dealings are followed. But that was difficult. The progress of technology has offered new methods of communication for every kind of deals. Hurried improvement of goods has complicated the risk of every quarter. The innovations in creation run ahead of the infrastructure to put in place the required monitoring apparatus.

Jeopardy recognition/measurement/monitoring have become the buzzwords in the authoritarian instrument. The risk fundamentals have multiplied manifold, giving rise to prominence on risk administration. Technology has increased our capability to take on a diversity of responsibilities. It has become the starting point to kick off the expansion efforts. It is recognised that the appearance of new concepts as well as new creation improvement are both technology motivated.

Technology does not perform in isolation, autonomous of professional atmosphere. The ultimate test of technology is not know-how enlargement but trade expansion. Technology is an input in the progression of extending the service to boost business dimensions. Technology facilitates prompt and precise consumer tune-up and also provides information power to marketing functionaries. Authority in the new set up is disseminated and information can move around freely at various hierarchical levels. User departments have more access and control on their software whereby they can modify or even develop appropriate software. The monitoring and control of all applications and software package is a daunting task.

No doubt technology is tantamount of miracle. Today communication is as fast as computer. We have mobile phone whereby we can contact anyone, anytime, anywhere. We have ATM card, credit card, plastic card etc whereby we can move around the whole world without money. Computer is playing a major role in every sector today. The moon and other planets are also not beyond our reach. In brief, today our life is so easy and comfortable thanks to technology.
