Tejaswi Yadav dismisses demand for his resignation by calling it 'creation of media'
A day after BJP launched a full-scale attack against Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's son Tejaswi Yadav over corruption charges filed by the CBI, Tejaswi on Tuesday dismissed questions about the growing chorus for his resignation as media speculation.

Speaking to media reporters outside the state Assembly today, Tejaswi Yadav who is in the middle of corruption scandal said, "It (resignation demand) is only in the media."

The opposition party BJP on Monday, July 17 had said that he has only two options — 'resign' or 'get sacked'. BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi had urged Nitish Kumar to "stand firm on his ground (in seeking resignation of Tejaswi)… The BJP will be standing with him on his decision on this issue".

Earlier, Tejaswi had blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP Chief Amit Shah by terming CBI charges against him as a 'grand conspiracy'.
